Chris Wang, Sr. Manager, International Tax, Deloitte & Touche

Chris specializes in international tax and has been serving multinational companies primarily in the technology and banking industries. His experience includes managing worldwide effective tax rate, IPO positioning, international merger and acquisition, transfer pricing, offshore IP holding companies, cost-sharing arrangements as well as profit expatriation strategies, etc. Chris especially has extensive experience in outbound international tax planning in Asia Pacific region. He frequently travels to Asia and is fluent in Mandarin and Taiwanese. He previously worked in Asia on a two and half year overseas assignment.

His clients include multinational corporations in the semiconductor industry, telecommunication, computer manufacturing, etc. His education background is: M.S. in Taxation, M.S. in Accounting, and M.B.A. in State University of New York at Albany, and B.S., Economics, Chung Hsing National University

Harry Huang, Principal and Portfolio Strategist at Barclays Global Investors (BGI)

Dr. Harry Huang manages several billion dollars as a fund manager and is a principal at Barclays Global Investors (BGI), one of the largest investment management companies in the world. Before the current role, Harry was a product and investment strategist, playing a key role in designing and marketing new investment strategies and products for large institutional clients. Prior to joining BGI, Harry was a vice president at Credit Suisse First Boston, working in both New York and London. He has a Ph.D. in economics from the University of Chicago, and has given speech at international financial conferences.

Hong Tai Chou, Ph.D., CEO of IncubeNet, President of Tech Venture Business Network

Dr. Chou was founder and CEO of Omniscience, a database company whose board members included Larry Ellison, Jeffrey Henley, David Roux and Leonar Liu. Omniscience was acquired by Oracle, and the product is now better known as Oracle 8i Lite. Dr. Chou was also a co-founder of Versant Object Technology (NASDAQ: VSNT). During his "first retirement", Dr. Chou helped many startups in the Silicon Valley either as a board director or an advisory board member.

Jun Zhu, Senior Associate at AXA Rosenberg

Dr. Zhu is a Senior Associate at AXA Rosenberg since 1998, doing financial research on global equity investment to support management of multi-billion portfolios on global financial market. Previously, he worked at Citadel Investment LLC as a Software Engineer on financial modeling and front office trading system development and at CIESIN as an Information Scientist.

Dr. Zhu received his PhD in 1993 and MPA in 1990 from Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs, Princeton University, his his B.S. in ME from Xian Jiaotong University in 1985. He is currently a Chartered Financial Analyst and a member of Association for Investment Management & Research.

Ken Harden, Vice President of Sales, Americas & Europe, SRS2

Mr. Harden has over 20 years of experience in the global manufacturing sector, including major engagements at Honeywell Inc., Sony Electronics, Inc-where he was a principal founder of Sony's business to business company---and SRS2. At SRS2, he is responsible for leadership in the China Services Group, specializing in US companies outsourcing their manufacturing to China. The SRS2 offering includes both outsource contract manufacturing and US company owned manufacturing facilities in China. Mr. Harden is also championing a partnership with the China Ministry of Trade and Science, in which SRS2 is building a web enabled communication platform, linking China's 52 business and technology parks. The project, called Industry-Net, will enable US manufacturers to preliminarily match up with potential China manufacturing partners on-line! Mr. Harden is a cum laude graduate of Washburn University, where he was awarded "Sagamore", top senior man in his class.

Lili Zheng, Partner, International Tax, Deloitte & Touche

Lili has more than 13 years of experience in international tax and business consulting services for inbound and outbound investments. Her work experience includes development of strategies to manage worldwide effective tax rates, cross-border international mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructuring, venture fund structuring, etc. Lili also has extensive knowledge in IPO positioning, establishing offshore IP holding companies, implementing cost-sharing agreements, and advising on entry and exist strategies for cross-border investments. As a leader in the Chinese Services Group, Lili has extensive experience working with Chinese clients and travels frequently to the Asia Pacific region. Lili is also a liaison for business transactions with Greater China and had previously worked in our Tokyo and Beijing offices. Lili is a Certified Public Accountant. Ms. Zheng is a frequent speaker on international tax issues, and is a frequent contributor to Tax Notes International and other international tax publications. Lili was recently recognized as among the top five tax advisers in the West Region of the U.S. in a leading international survey on tax advisers conducted by the prestigious International Tax Review. Lili received her B.S. in Accounting and Finance from UC Berkeley and her MS in Taxation from Golden Gate University.

William Ren, President of Association of Chinese Finance Professionals, Director of Internal Audit Department at Charles Schwab.

Dr. Ren is currently a Director of Internal Audit Department at Charles Schwab, the largest brokerage firm in the U.S. He is also the President of Association of Chinese Finance Professionals. His prior experience includes working as a Vice President and Manager of Business Banking Finance and as a Vice President and Manager of Portfolio and Risk Management, Bank of America, as a Sr. Financial and Risk Management Consultant at Wells Fargo Bank, and as a Financial Analyst with the World Bank in Washington DC, and as a Financial Analyst/Engineer at Economic and Technological Development Research Center in China.

Dr. Ren received his Ph.D. and M.A. in Economics and M.A. in Mathematical Behavioral Sciences, University of California at Irvine, M.S. in Communication and Electronics at China Academy of Posts and Telecommunications, and B.S. in Management Information Systems from Tsinghua University, China. Dr. Ren was the President of Chinese Scholars & Students Association, University of California at Irvine, 1993-1994.
